Korean-Canadian R&B artist slchld is set to make his long-awaited return to Singapore this summer — and fans, it’s time to mark your calendars! The ‘lo-fi loverboy’, known for his mellow vibes and emotionally honest lyrics, will be performing live at Gateway Theatre on 13 July as part of his latest Asia tour.

Pronounced as seoul-child, slchld first captivated listeners with his breakout hit ‘she likes spring, I prefer winter’, which quickly became a comfort anthem among lo-fi and R&B fans worldwide. Following the success of his sold-out 2022 Asia tour, the singer-songwriter has only continued to soar — amassing millions of streams on Spotify and collaborating with rising Asian artists like Thailand’s HYBS and Korean-American star eaJ.

Most recently, slchld released ‘A Thousand Years with You’, adding to his discography of raw, heartfelt music that explores themes of vulnerability, growth, and connection. His 2024 EP APOLOGY — featuring the standout track ‘CARE’ — was yet another reminder that slchld wears his heart on his sleeve, and fans love him for it.
