Korean literature has been gaining a lot of attention in recent years and this year’s edition of Singapore Writers Festival includes a spotlight on the genre in its Country Focus programme. Meet the Korean authors who have written some of your favourite books such as I Want to Die But I Want to Eat Tteokbokki, Welcome to the Hyunam-dong Bookshop, and webtoons Itaewon Class and Hellbound, as well as multi-award-winning translator and author Anton Hur, who will also be conducting a masterclass on pitching translations and getting them published.
