South Korean girl group NMIXX announced their first ever showcase tour ‘Nice To MIXX You’ and the Singapore leg will be held on 23 June. The 13-city exclusive run of shows will kick off in May with cities across the US before heading back to Asia with shows in Bangkok, Jakarta, Taipei, Singapore, and Manila.
NMIXX, consisting of members Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin, debuted in February 2022 with the single ‘AD MARE’, which featured the title track ‘O.O’. Within 24 hours of its release, the music video for ‘O.O’ chalked up more than 20 million views and their debut single album ‘AD MARE’ sold over 220K copies in the first week, recording the highest debut album sales by a girl group ever in K-pop history.
Following the explosive success of ‘O.O’, NMIXX continued to release popular hits such as ‘DICE’ and ‘Young, Dumb, Stupid’. Their latest title track ‘Love Me Like This’ from their first EP album ‘expérgo’ has been doing well on music streaming charts globally, proving that the rookie girl group is not a force to be reckoned with.
Despite being a relatively young group, NMIXX has already gained attention and recognition in the K-pop industry. The group has been praised for their vocal and dance skills, and described as a promising addition to the K-pop scene, as they continue to make their mark with their fresh approach to music and performance. The tour will also feature music from their first EP ‘expérgo’, showcasing NMIXX unique style across various genres, including hip-hop, R&B, and Soft Pop.
