BTS’ Suga will be bringing his ‘Agust D’ tour to Singapore this June. The Asia leg of the tour will start from Bangkok (10-11 June) before coming to Singapore (17-18 June). The Seoul stops will be held on 24-25 June at Jamsil Indoor Stadium.
Suga (also known by his real name Min Yoongi) was the first member in BTS to make his debut as a solo musician after he released his first entirely self-produced 10-track mixtape Agust D in mid-August 2016. Despite having performed in Singapore thrice with his members at the Red Bullet Concert in 2014, Music Bank in Singapore in 2017, and Love Yourself Concert in 2019, this two-day concert will be Suga’s first time performing alone in Singapore.
Agust D is the alias of Suga which he adopted as his stage name in the hip-hop scene of his hometown Daegu prior to his debut with BTS. Despite being known by the general public as the most soft-spoken, reserved, and chic member, Suga’s style as Agust D is unimpeded, rough-cut, and powerful. Some of his popular solo tracks include Daechwita (2020), Give It to Me (2016), and So Far Away (feat. Suran) (2016).
