Song Kang to hold ‘Moment’ Asia Fanmeeting Tour in Singapore on 8 March 2023
You’ve heard it right, SONGPYEONs (collective name for Song Kang’s fans)! South Korean actor Song Kang will finally be meeting his fans in Singapore for the first time at the ‘2023 Song Kang Asia Fan Meeting Tour – Moment in Singapore’ this March.
Song Kang first debuted in the 2017 K-drama “The Liar and His Lover” where he played a supporting role as the childhood friend who had a crush on the female lead played by Red Velvet’s Joy. Known for his swoon-worthy first male lead roles in romance dramas “Love Alarm” (2019 – 2021), “Nevertheless” (2021), “Forecasting Love and Weather” (2022), K-drama actor Song Kang has been constantly capturing the hearts of many audiences around the globe with his good looks and stellar acting .
The 28-year-old actor was propelled to stardom after he starred in the apocalyptic Netflix zombie horror series “Sweet Home” (2020) which had 22 million views worldwide in its first month as reported by Variety. Most of his K-dramas are also aired on Netflix, earning him nicknames such as “Son of Netflix” and “Man-jjit-nam”, which translates to man walking out of a comic book. His notable K-dramas “Love Alarm” (2019 – 2021), “Sweet Home” (2020), “Nevertheless” (2021), and “Navillera” (2021) were all webtoon or web comic adaptations.
