Why you should watch Emergency Declaration

Emergency Declaration 01

What audiences can look out for in this well-made project would be how Director Han Jae Rim ensured that there is continuity throughout the film despite so many different spaces and characters in the air and on land. The actors shared that it was a huge help to their performances to have a shooting guide that was so detailed, it was something close to an animated film. It wouldn’t have been possible without Director Han having spent six months of the pre-production period finalising decisions related to the production design, cinematography, lighting, and VFX and putting them into the continuity book.

The art team constructed a set in an aircraft flown in from abroad. The actual components in the aircraft were kept in its original state while special accommodations were made to ensure the safety of the cast. Real interior airplane lighting was used as much as possible and high-sensitivity shooting was used for the most realistic airline lighting. All the various teams on the crew worked together organically to create the most authentic look possible for Emergency Declaration, to give audiences a convincing, lifelike experience.
