WIN! Tickets to Exclusive Preview Screening of The Divine Fury
Yet another movie about priests, you ask? Well, yes. And yes, it is another action thriller. Korea seems to be interested in writing stories about this theme in recent years. But before you dismiss it completely, maybe the fact that Park Seo Joon is the lead may change your mind?
Synopsis of The Divine Fury:
The Divine Fury follows Yong-hoo (played by Park Seo Joon), a champion fighter who wakes up one day with mysterious wounds on his hands. After losing his father at a young age, he had abandoned his Christian faith, choosing to only believe in himself. However, the appearance of the mysterious wounds leads to him seeking help from a local priest Father Ahn (played by Ahn Sung Ki), in hopes that he would be able to heal his pain. Instead, the fighter ends up realising he has developed divine powers to help him in a different kind of battle – against evil forces wreaking havoc in the human world.
