(x)clusive!: NU`EST W ‘DOUBLE YOU’ Encore Concert in Hong Kong Press Conference
Hey, LOVE! Were you at aPM earlier this evening for NU`EST W’s ‘DOUBLE YOU’ Encore Concert in Hong Kong press conference?
The lovely boys of NU`EST W – Aron, JR, Baekho, and Ren – made a public appearance at aPM and were welcomed by hundreds of ㄴㅇㅅㅌs (official name for fans of NU`EST) who had been waiting since early this morning, in hopes of catching a glimpse of the members prior to their concert the next day.
NU`EST W expressed that they are very excited to return to Hong Kong again as four since they were last here in 2017 for their 2017 NU`EST W Special Concert in Hong Kong although Ren had a solo event two months back. Despite being no newcomer to Hong Kong, NU’EST W said that it is always heartening to see so many fans waiting for them.
Coincidentally, NU`EST W is here in Hong Kong during the week of the Mid-Autumn Festival. It is tradition in Korea to have foods such as songpyeon (송편) and hangwa (한과), whereas for Hong Kong, the must-eat delicacy during Mid-Autumn is mooncake. So to celebrate the festival the local way, the members tried some mooncake after arriving in here and all of them said that they really liked it! Baekho also shared that he would love to visit Tsim Sha Tsui and experience the festival celebrations there.
When asked about the musical genres and styles NU`EST W would like to try for their next album, JR mentioned that they are doing their best to prepare and they hope that fans can see the hard work they are putting in and hence give them lots of support! ㄴㅇㅅㅌs, is this a major hint that the boys are dropping for their upcoming album?
Towards the end of the press conference, NU`EST W teased that they have a lot of cool performances planned for the concert. The boys then made finger hearts in unison for their fans while saying “heart, heart (心, 心)” in Cantonese. We’re sure the fans have all caught the love from them and will be showing them all the love right back during the concert tomorrow!
The encore concert that will be happening tomorrow night will be at the same location as their first showcase in Hong Kong, so do be there to show them all the love and support!
