To mark the official launch of the upcoming season, Hong Kong’s local fashion brand ‘izzue‘ invited Produce 101 Season 2’s Kim Shihyun as one of the runway models for the pre-show. As this is Shihyun’s first overseas runway debut, he is receiving lots of attention from both the media and his fans! Popular Hong Kong singer G.E.M., fashion stylist Mayao Ma, and The Rap of China’s Top Four finalist Jony J also graced the event as special guests.

Shihyun practised his catwalk with a bathroom mirror
When asked how he felt with regard to walking the runway at such a large-scale event, Shihyun mentioned that as it was his first time standing on such a big stage, he was actually quite overwhelmed with emotions. He admitted that he was also very nervous and he had been preparing for the catwalk by practising with his bathroom mirror whenever he could.
On the type of outfits he prefers, he shared that he normally dresses very casually, and he has a special love for shirts because he thinks it gives him a ‘clean image’.
After his first overseas schedule, Shihyun said he will continue practising and work harder as an artiste. We asked if Shihyun had any plans to participate in upcoming fashion events, such as the Seoul Fashion Week that will be held in October, and Shihyun expressed his interest by saying that he would love to participate if he was given the opportunity.
I.T has always been an ardent supporter and a strong push of the local fashion scene, and this time around, one of its labels izzue was being invited by the Hong Kong Trade Commerce to once again participate in an international fashion exhibition named ‘CENTRESTAGE’, held at Hong Kong Conference Center on the 8th September. izzue is using the 2017 Fall/Winter series as their blueprint to create over 30 new designs for men and women, hoping to boost the influence of local designs and the interest of the public, and building a platform for the top local designers, fashion industry professionals, and fashion enthusiasts to interact. Additionally, the label also specially invited local band Chochukmo to produce and perform the music that evening. This is also the first time the band is composing music for fashion labels, and they have incorporated elements and styles from their past performances to present an exciting collaboration for izzue 2017.
