It has been months since the popular survival show, Produce 101 Season 2, ended, yet the fever is still going strong. While both Lim Youngmin and Kim Donghyun did not make it to the final eleven, fans can’t help but be thankful when news of their debut was released.
The duo recently debuted on 6th September, as a project unit, MXM. MXM stands for both ‘Mix and Match’ and ‘More x More’, referring to their compatibility as a group, despite contrasting personalities, and their determination to develop as a team, respectively.

With more than 30,000 copies of their first mini album, ‘UNMIX’, pre-ordered, one can’t help but anticipate what the duo will bring to the table in the future, since both Lim Youngmin and Kim Donghyun not only composed, but also wrote the lyrics for several tracks in their first mini album. As a bonus, fellow Brand New Music trainees Lee Daehwi and Park Woojin of Wanna One also took part in the production of MXM’s ‘GOOD DAY’.
MXM is set to make a multi-stop promotional tour in Asia! Tickets for their Grand Debut Party in Hong Kong were snapped up within half an hour and the duo is set to hit Taiwan for a fansign on 29th September. Will Singapore be the next stop of their Asia Tour?
