Hong Kong National Youth Festival 2017 (feat. INFINITE, Jun.K, Baek A Yeon, Boy Story)

Hong Kong National Youth Festival 2017

The annual Hong Kong National Youth Festival is around the corner, and INFINITE will be celebrating National Day with Inspirits in Hong Kong for the third consecutive year. This time around, they will be joined by Jun.K of 2PM, Baek A Yeon, and JYP Entertainment’s new Chinese boy group, Boy Story. Not forgetting local Hong Kong artistes, Mag Lam and Jason Ng, to complete the final line-up.

INFINITE has been on semi-hiatus after their contracts expired in June. As such, fans are thus looking forward to what the group will bring to the table since this event will be the group’s first overseas schedule as six after the announcement of their contract renewal.

With three artistes in the line-up, this seems like a mini JYP Nation concert. Jun.K was originally scheduled to enlist this year, but it was postponed due to his injuries when he fell off the stage at 2PM’s last 6 Nights concert. Lucky for Hottest because it only means that fans get to see Jun.K perform in Hong Kong one last time, before he heads for his mandatory military service.

Baek A Yeon is well-known since her days as one of the top 3 finalists in K-Pop Star Season 1. Since her debut in 2012, her singles have always reached top spots on music charts, and this includes her latest track ‘Sweet Lies (feat. The Barberettes)’.

Boy Story is a Chinese boy group, under JYPE China (NCCE), formed in conjunct with Tencent Music Entertainment Group. Boy Story is scheduled to debut in 2018, but will be making their appearance at the concert as part of their pre-debut promotional activities.
