Upon the welcoming applause from both the media and fans, the two main characters, Seo Kang Joon and Lee Dong Hwi from the latest K-drama, Entourage, entered the room with their warmest smiles as greeting. Lee Dong Hwi mentioned that one of the most memorable moment he had while filming, was when he played games with the crew in Busan. As it was raining heavily that day, the punishment for the losing person was decidedly to stayed under the rain without an umbrella for five minutes. Needless to say, he was all drenched and even caught a cold later on. For Seo Kang Joon, he said that he enjoyed filming this drama a lot, as many of the scenes of this drama was filmed outside Seoul, allowing him to travel around Korea in the process.

Both actors felt that the roles they had in the drama were absolute opposites to their true personalities, having almost no similarities. If they had to mention any, Seo Kang Joon stated that just like ‘Young Bin’, his character in Entourage, they are both people who were willing to do everything for their friends as long as it would make them happy.

When the emcee mentioned that Seo Kang Joon is already one of the top stars in Asia like Young Bin, the actor humbly elaborated that he does not think he is a top star yet, and he felt that there was a big difference between his drama role and himself. Unlike Young Bin who lives his life lavishly, visiting popular hot spots with his friends, Seo Kang Joon preferred staying at home or heading to the Han river for a walk.

On the other hand, Lee Dong Hwi explained that Turtle, his role in the drama, was someone who fools around a lot and often needed to be saved by friends; in reality however, he is a very independent person who would try to resolve any problem by himself instead of relying on his friends.

During their free time, both stars preferred staying at home to rest; Seo Kang Joon would play with his cat at home, while Lee Dong Hwi would stay at home to game. Both commented that they are truly different from the roles they have to portray.

So, why should we watch Entourage then?

Actor Seo Kang Joon said that it is a drama about friendship and love that coveys the happiness in the Korean entertainment industry. When filming this drama, he got reminded about many of his old friends as well. Lee Dong Hwi mentioned that as the drama shows how all the characters matures through the experiences in the entertainment industry, it is a good drama to catch for viewers who are curious about the industry. Fans can also look forward to the chemistry among the four main characters as the story unfolds.

After the Q&A session with the media, the actors also played a simple game of ‘beer pong’ – without the alcoholic content, of course – where the winning team gets a photo chance. Finally, Seo Kang Joon and Lee Dong Hwi took a group photo with fans on-site, ending the press conference amid laughter and excitement.
