YG’s newest addition, WINNER, made a short appearance at the Samsung Experience Store at Westgate mall on 14th September 2014. Despite being worn out from Day One of YG Family 2014 Galaxy Tour: Power in Singapore concert the day before (and scheduled to have another performance that evening), the five members, Seunghoon, Taehyun, Seungyoon, Mino and Jinwoo did not forget to put on a smile for the fans present.
An approximated 500 fans turned up at the event to catch a glimpse of the boy group. In the short half-an-hour meeting, WINNER held an autograph and photo-taking session with lucky winners, and took a tour in the Samsung Experience Store to try out their latest gadgets.
At the event, WINNER took the chance to share their first impression of Singapore (‘it’s very hot’) and their love for local delights such as the chilli and pepper crab, where Seungyoon mentioned that he liked the spice of the well-loved local dish. Lastly, they also mentioned that they enjoyed the YG Family concert, where they performed with seniors PSY, Epik High, Big Bang and 2NE1 for the Singapore stop.
It was also interesting to note the group’s playfulness; member Mino was spotted playing with the phone, showing all kinds of poses and even checking his appearance with it, while Seungyoon did a mini-dance to the loud background music, much to the amusement of the fans.
