FT Island member joins CEO of FNC Entertainment as well as Head of FNC Academy to crown the winner of Scoot: K-Pop Star Hunt 3 during the Grand Finale held in Singapore
Survival reality television programme Scoot: K-Pop Star Hunt 3 will be hosting a grand finale competition in Singapore this Sunday, 12 January at Suntec City. The upcoming grand finale of Scoot: K-Pop Star Hunt 3 will mark the end of a two-month long battle for some K-Pop hopefuls and the beginning of a promising K-Pop future for one lucky finalist. The series is currently airing on channel M (Singtel Mio TV Ch. 518 | StarHub TV Ch. 824). The top 4 finalists of the series will battle it out at the grand finale to be crowned the ultimate victor of Scoot: K-Pop Star Hunt 3.
Fans and music enthusiasts will also be pleased to know that Lee Jae Jin, bassist and second vocalist of FT Island will join the judging panel in deciding the next K-Pop star. The other two judges for the grand finale include well-known figures such as Mr Han Seong Ho, CEO of FNC Entertainment and Mr Ko Kwang Il, Head of FNC Academy.
Known for his boyish looks in South Korea, Lee Jae Jin is the bass player and vocalist of F. T. Island (short for Five Treasure Island), a five-member South Korean pop rock which consists of members; Choi Jong Hun, Lee Hongki, Song Seung Hyun and Choi Min Hwan. Formed in 2007, F. T. Island has amassed a list of achievements and is well-liked among fans in Korea, Japan and Taiwan. The group had recently wrapped up the promotions of their fifth mini-album “The Mood” which consisted of Lee Jae Jin’s self-composed song, “The Way Into You”.

The Final Four of Scoot: K-Pop Star Hunt 3
Four contestants have proven their worth and earned their ticket to the grand finale. They are Malaysia’s Putri Norizah Ibnor Riza, Singapore’s Stephanie Koh, Thailand’s Siriburee Chananan (Pik) and Taiwan’s Andy Su. The top 4 finalists will undergo two rounds of tests- two solo performances before the final winner is crowned.
Mr. Sebastian Kim, Vice President of CJ E&M enthused, “This is the first time that we are conducting the finale performances of K-Pop Star Hunt as a public event where the finalists will compete against each other, going head-to-head to wow the judges as well as the live audience. We aim to maintain the production integrity of K-Pop Star Hunt’s vision, which is to seek and award the best performer a once in a lifetime opportunity to become a K-Pop artiste. Regardless of the past challenges that these contestants have faced in the show, the upcoming grand finale will be the ultimate test of their abilities.”

The ultimate winner of Scoot: K-Pop Star Hunt 3 will be offered a contract deal with CJ E&M and FNC Entertainment and undergo intensive training to be a K-pop singer. He/she also stands a chance to collaborate with artists from FNC Entertainment and make a stage appearance on Global M! Countdown with his/her own debut single.
