This upcoming trip will be Lee Seung Gi’s second visit to Singapore. He held his first fan meeting cum mini concert in Singapore, August last year, where we witnessed fans from all over the world came to Singapore just to support the Korean heartthrob. When news on 2013 Lee Seung Gi ‘The Brilliant Show’ in Singapore was released on Faith & D Entertainment’s Facebook page, fans rejoice and waited earnestly for the tickets to go on sale. All Premium tickets released for sale at 12pm on Saturday, 6 July 2013 were sold out in 2 minutes, no doubt proving the popularity of Lee Seung Gi.
Lee Seung Gi continues to dominate in both the Korean music and drama scenes. In November 2012, the artiste released his mini album, Forest. The album was immediately snapped up by fans across the globe. In addition, his recent drama, Gu Family Book, was also a big hit. Lee Seung Gi played the lead role Choi Kang Chi in Gu Family Book and his acting garnered rave positive reviews while the drama achieved record high viewership ratings.
