Universal Music Korea‘s first idol group, Boys Republic, is here to claim your heart with their debut track, Party Rock. Consisting of five members – Jo Won Jun, Choi Da Bin, Park Sung Jun, Kim Min Su and Lee Su Woong – Boys Republic had been the interest of many since October last year when Universal Music Group first announced that they had plans to debut a multi-talented idol group. When concrete plans were slowly revealed on March 4th, it was made known that the members had been training for the past two years in not only dancing and singing, but also in acting, learning of different languages and national customs, and now have their eyes set on international stardom.
Club along to Boys Republic’s debut song “Party Rock”
Their debut track, Party Rock, is a trendy dance number with a mix of autotune and euro-beat, the type of music you will hear at a club and feel like dancing along to. On the first few listens, it’ll find yourself singing along to “tonigh-igh-igh-ight” at the chorus, and the dance choreography looks fun as well – involving lots of footwork and formation changes, well executed with trained moves. (On a side note, they give off a Dalmatian feel!)
