It was definitely one of the most entertaining Kpop showcases that happened in Singapore – despite this to be B1A4‘s first ever official solo showcase overseas, the boys seemed to be seasoned artists as they showed their vocal, dance and special talents. There was no one moment when something was not happening on stage! On one side, fan games may be in progress, but on the other side a member or two could be making cute actions and reactions.
The showcase started off with their debut song, “O.K“!
The members even tried speaking in English throughout the show. From their first introductions, Baro said, “We will have funny time, are you ready?” while CNU said “Are you ready to enjoy our stage, huh?”
Next was followed by a game of musical chairs with the fans – seemed like the members were too nice as they all allowed their fans to sit while they all got disqualified – other than CNU who only got disqualified at the end, but was accused of being “not gentlemanly” by the other members.
The boys were split into two groups after; Baro and Jinyoung VS Sandeul, CNU and Gongchan for a game of charades. You could tell Baro had the acting bug in him as he presented all the questions accurately without fail – from Snow White to Michael Jackson!
Meanwhile, Sandeul was stumped at the question “Lady Gaga” and requested to skip it. He was monitoring the whole situation by watching the big screen on the wall and had huge reactions when the members did his impersonsation wrongly!
There was an ultimate fangirl test following after, as the boys took a break before resuming the performances. 5 fangirls were picked to pitch the loudness of their screams and one of them were very lucky enough to be serenaded to by all 5 boys with the song, Chris Brown’s With You.
The B1A4 members also displayed their special talents: Jinyoung imitated the sounds of a helicopter and race car; CNU showed off his dance moves; Baro beatboxed; Sandeul sang the first two lies of Eric Benet’s Last Time, while Gongchan ended of with a display of aegyo poses. Watch:

Notably, all the members prepared their farewell speech in English and it was pretty impressive!

Unlike the MTV Match Up Showcase B1A4 had back in Korea, the boys did not cry – instead, they kept reassuring that they will be back again. The Showcase ended off with the ballad off their debut album, Only One, that moved many hearts.
All the audience joined in to sing the Birthday song in Korean for B1A4’s youngest member Gongchan, whose birthday is on 14th August. Following after the showcase was also an August Babies’ special birthday party, a special fanmeet for fans who also have their birthdays in August.
Hearing from fans who attended the August Babies’ special birthday party, special sparkle candles where used on the cake, and there were a lot of close interactions between B1A4 and the fans!
