Asia’s top idol group, Super Junior has been selected as this year Seoul Summer Sales Honorary Ambassadors. In a survey conducted earlier this year among foreigners, Super Junior clinched an overwhelming 76% of the votes when asked which celebrities should represent the Seoul Summer Sale.
The mayor of Seoul, Oh Se Hoon, noted in his address, “Super Junior is a group that is not only popular in Asia, but even in Europe as well. I hope we all, including Super Junior, do our parts in representing Seoul beyond what Hallyu has to offer.” He also claimed that this year’s Seoul Summer Sale will be critical in attracting more tourists to the city.
