(x)clusive! – Song Joongki unveils Tony Moly

First thing first, I have to admit that Song Joong Ki’s heartwarming smile and outgoing personality are attributes that one will fall for upon first glance. How could one not fall for that pretty and flawless face? In addition, he is never stingy to give out smiles and waves; his fan service is simply amazing.

To celebrate the recent opening of Tony Moly Singapore’s flagship store in Bugis Junction on 17 November 2010, Song Joong Ki, its newly appointed brand ambassador, visited Singapore for the very first time to unveil the store, as well as to endorse the brand’s latest additions to the retail shelves – the Tony Moly Floria and Latte Art range.

As many of you would have known, Tony Moly is famous for their innovative and unique packaging and this time around, the Tony Moly Latte Art is packaged exactly like a Latte served in a Latte cup, complete with aromatic coffee fragrance. Doesn’t it look yummilicious?

Song Joong Ki met up with his fans on 20th December afternoon for a specially organized autograph and photography session with his fans at Bugis Junction, where 10 lucky ones got to enjoy a couple shoot opportunity and 90 lucky others got to take home his autograph.

I personally wasn’t at the fansign scene really early, but I know many fans were, judging from the number of people I saw when I entered the media area.

Not forgetting Tony Moly’s newly launched products on stage.

The MC for the event was Liyi and not long after she was up on stage, Song Joong Ki was out, all in smiles.

He was asked to do his signature Yeorim’s wink and he shyly and awkwardly did it twice and undoubtedly, this little act caused frenzy amongst the screaming crowd.  I’m so sorry for not being able to catch it fast enough! *bows*

And I just have to say this! Song Joong Ki has like 85381226127 facial expressions. Just look at his cute little pout and shocked wide-mouth expression!

There was also a little gift presentation from the representatives of the local fanclub to Song Joong Ki, which the boy happily opened and attempt reading on the spot. I was actually more curious as to what goodies there were in the bag upon seeing Joong Ki’s cute reaction! =P

I’ve got to say that flower-boy Song Joong Ki loves kids. When the four boys of Ms Calle Teng, Director of Tony Moly Singapore, appeared on stage to present a bouquet of flowers to the brand’s ambassador, he took the bouquet and conveniently carried the youngest boy. Doesn’t he look like a loving father?

This marked the start of the autograph session.

I have to admit that he is really attentive to the fans throughout the whole fansign event. When fans talk to him, his attention will be 100% on them as he tries to understand. There were even several times when he laughed in response to the fan’s comments and gifts. He will even take special time to read fan boards fans bring onstage. That’s how nice he was.

During the whole fansign, one question keeps popping up in my mind “How can he talk so long to each and every fan?” You are right, when you are on stage, he will try to strike up a conversation and respond to you no matter what. Not forgetting the fact that he will even write your name on the specially designed card, with his autograph. This is really something different from all the other Korean Group fansigns held in Singapore before.

After the fansign event, Ms Teng prepared something special for Joong Ki – a photo of the night skyline from the Sands SkyPark (the sky garden of Marina Bay Sands) with a superimposed Song Joong Ki on it! SJK seemed very surprised by the thoughtful gift since he didn’t manage to view the magnificent view himself during his short stay in Singapore.

And a special shot to show that Joong Ki would be an amazing father in the future. He wiped of the saliva of the kid on instinct.

Presenting to you a ‘family’ shot!

The short session ended with smiles and waves from the lovely boy.

The following are media shots provided by Tony Moly Singapore for the fans to have snippets of the press conference and the shop visits.
