[KTO] Star Avenue

Opened in July 2009, Star Avenue is one of the place you should visit if you are a Hallyu fan.

Star Avenue contains five different interactive sections, giving visitors unprecedented access to the worlds of their favorite stars. From viewing costumes and accessories donated by Hallyu stars such as Big Bang, TVXQ and Rain to trying on costumes used in dramas. Star Avenue offers something for everyone where the you are a fan of the Korean dramas or Kpop. It’s pretty interesting to view all those costumes and accessories worn by the celebrities up close rather than on TV.

Star Avenue is a cool place to visit if you are Hallyu fan, however, I do hope for the day that there will be a Madame Tussauds Korea Hallyu exhibit in Seoul. It’ll be so cool to be able to view life size wax figures of those K-celebrities. Oh well, I’ll just have to wait for that day to come.

Directions to Star Avenue

If you are interested in visiting Star Avenue, it is located at the South gate of Lotte World in Jamsil, Seoul.  If you are taking the subway, take subway lines 2 or 8 to Jamsil Station and exit at exit 4. You have to walk through the underground shopping arcade to get to Star Avenue.

If you hold a one day Lotte World pass or a yearly Lotte World pass you get to enter Star Avenue for free. Admissions to Star Avenue cost 10,000 won for an adult.
