Jackson Wang to Hold “Magic Man World Tour” in Singapore this December
Multi-hyphenated solo artist Jackson Wang from popular K-pop group GOT7 will be back in Singapore on 23 December 2022 for his first solo headline tour “Magic Man World Tour 2022-2023”. He was recently in town to film a series of videos with the Singapore Tourism Board as part of their SingapoREimagine campaign in July 2022. Jackson Wang will be kicking off his “Magic Man World Tour” in Bangkok on 26 November 2022 before hitting Kuala Lumpur (17 December 2022), Singapore (23 December 2022), London (12 January 2023), Paris (15 January 2023), and Dubai (4 February 2023).
No stranger to the sunny island of Singapore, Jackson Wang has always been generous with expressing his affection for the city-state especially when he reminisces about his first visit back in 2010 when he competed in the first Youth Olympics Games in Singapore as a fencer during interviews with the local press. Jackson had subsequently visited Singapore as a member of GOT7 for several fan meetings and concerts after he debuted in the K-pop scene in 2014.
As a solo artist, Jackson is the first Chinese solo singer to perform on the Coachella main stage. He also performed during the grand finale at HITC Festival, and gained popularity as a solo artist through various music performances and major festivals across the world. His latest album ‘MAGIC MAN’ ranked Top 15 on Billboard 200 and also ranked Top 13 on Billboard Artist 100 in 2022.
“MAGIC MAN is the ultimate form of oneself, having gone through different peaks and valleys of life to arrive at the most authentic version. Everyone is able to become their own form of MAGIC MAN. It’s not a mystery, everything is just magic”, said Jackson.
Jackson made his first television debut in China in 2015, released his first solo album in China in 2017, and has since been actively promoting in the Chinese entertainment industry. He has also amassed over 90 million followers across the different social media platforms in his ascent as a globally acclaimed artist and a creative director.
