Catch Kang Ha Neul at Midnight Runners Movie Premiere in Hong Kong
Director Kim Joo Hwan and charismatic heartthrob Kang Ha Neul will be in Hong Kong on 28th August to promote the action comedy, Midnight Runners.
Having pre-sold to six countries at the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market held in March, Midnight Runners tells the story about two police academy students Ki Joon (acted by Park Seo Joon) and Hee Yeol (acted by Kang Ha Neul) being involved in a kidnapping case that they witnessed. The duo therefore embarked on their own amateur investigation and took matters into their own hands since the authorities reached a dead end due to the lack of evidence and the ever frustrating red-tapes. The movie, which was released in Seoul on August 9 enjoyed the number 2 spot in the box office and attracted more than 3.9 million audience to date.

Kang Ha Neul is known for his roles in popular K-dramas ‘The Heirs‘, ‘Misaeng‘, ‘Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo‘ and K-movies ‘Twenty‘ and ‘New Trial‘. This will be Kang Ha Neul’s third visit to Hong Kong for movie promotions tied up with Deltamac (HK) Co. Ltd, the official distributor of all his films released in the country, and the last time before his scheduled military enlistment on 11th September 2017. So if you want to meet the charming actor before bidding him goodbye for the next two years, this is one event you wouldn’t want to miss!
The action comedy, Midnight Runners, will be released in Hong Kong theatres on 31st August 2017 with Korean audio and subtitles in English and Chinese.
