More than 180 leading social media influencers across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines will gather in Singapore to compete for top awards in Influence Asia 2015, Asia’s largest social media awards show.

Venue: Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre Level 6

The top 180 participants from five countries will vie for top awards in the following nine categories: Beauty, Lifestyle, Fashion, Parenting, Food, Health & Fitness, YouTube Channel, YouTube Personality, and Breakout Influencer. Five top influencers from the countries will be crowned Influencer of the Year.

Distinguished influencers from Singapore include Narelle and Benjamin Kheng from The Sam Willows, one of Singapore’s most subscribed music band channels on YouTube with over 46,000 subscribers, food blogger Seth Lui whose blog reaches 300,000 unique visitors monthly and Night Owl Cinematics, the popular humour video producers.

TubTim, a Thai host and model with over 906,000 followers on Instagram, Laureen Uy, who is a Filipino designer and an Instagram star with more than 719,000 followers, and Putri Anindya, who will represent Indonesia for Miss Universe 2015 and also has more than 517,000 Instagram followers will also fly in to attend the show.

The list goes on with Malaysia’s singing sensation Elizabeth Tan, best known for her rendition of popular Malay songs with 134,000 subscribers on Youtube, Peter Hugh Davis who is an MMA fighter and a health and fitness influencer in Malaysia, Chandra Liow, an Indonesian YouTube star, Ria Miranda, founder of her eponymous fashion label, and many more.

As a festival for Asia’s digital marketing industry, Influence Asia 2015 will feature special guests as award presenters, as well as performances from regional artistes. They include Korean-pop star Jay Park, YouTube baby sensation Yebin, Tiffany from Girls’ Generation, American rapper, dancer, record producer, DJ and singer Stefan Kendal Gordy (better known by his stage name Redfoo) and editors of Elite Daily, a popular news platform from USA, and many more.

The regional artistes joining the celebration are Raisa, Indonesia’s most popular songstress with more than six million Instagram followers, Joe Flizzow & SonaOne, Malaysia’s award winning hip-hop artistes, Thailand’s top hip-hop rapper Dandee, and Singapore’s Shigga Shay with the Grizzle Grind Crew, and Gareth Fernandez.

Sheikh Haikel, Singapore’s godfather of hip-hop, and Canadian YouTube personality Peter Chao, will host the show.
