Bangtan Boys (also known as BTS, an abbreviation of their Korean romanized name ‘방탄소년단’ Bangtan Sonyeondan) made their debut with hip hop track ‘No More Dream’ back in 2013, and has since rose steadily to fame. The seven-member boy band under Big Hit Entertainment (consisting of members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Rap Monster, Jimin, V and Jungkook), attracted much attention with their strong stage presence in strong Hip-Hop numbers like ‘No More Dream’ and ‘N.O’, and showcased their musical versatility with R&B number like ‘Just One Day’.

Winning the ‘New Artist of the Year’ awards at the 2013 MelOn Music Awards and Golden Disk Awards, among others, the boys boost a number of nominations at various music awards, proving to be a rookie team to look out for. BTS recently completed their three-day sold out solo concert held at AX-Korea, and will be landing on Singapore this December.

FAQs

1) Is photography allowed during the concert?

Strictly NO photography and videography is allowed during the concert. Big Hit Entertainment has emphasized this. Basically nothing that is able to capture images should be used in the theatre.  iPads are allowed into the venue, but anyone caught taking photos and videos will not be allowed to re-enter the theatre. Mobile phones are allowed.

2) Can we bring in fan boards to support BTS?

Seated fans are allowed to bring in one fan board no larger than A4. However, please be considerate and do not block the view of other surrounding fans.  Please hold your fan boards with discretion.

3) What about fanlights?

Fanlights are allowed but please note that they should not be longer than 30cm and please do not block the view of those behind you.

4) I have prepared gifts for BTS! Can I throw it on the stage for them?

We would discourage anyone from throwing stuff onto the stage because it may unintentionally become a hazard for them when they are performing.

5) I am an international fan going straight for the concert from the airport. Can I bring my luggage into the theatre?

Please note that the theatre does not have any designated areas for you to deposit your luggage, suitcases or any prohibited items. No luggage, suitcases or baggage are allowed in the theatre. Just a gentle note that we cannot be responsible for your belongings.

6) Can I bring food and drinks into the venue?

No outside food is allowed in the theatre. You may purchase food and drink from the theatre’s  food operator inside the theatre. Please make sure that you dispose all bottles and food waste before you leave the premises.

7)    If I need to leave the theatre after being admitted, can I still re-enter?

If you are arranging to pass tickets to a friend, please ensure that it is done before you enter the theatre. We highly discourage any movement in and out of the theatre unless there is a very good reason and do bring your ticket along for re-entry.

8) I want to get some BTS merchandise! Where and when can I get them?

Announcement of The Merchandise Booth will be made known at a later date and will be sold at the foyer area of the Star Theatre.

9) What are the forms of payment for the merchandise?

We only accept cash. No cards or nets will be accepted.

10) Will everybody be able to get the merchandise they want?

All products are in limited quantity only, available while stocks last. So do get yours before it goes out of stock.

12) Black Market Tickets

Please note that we take the sale of black market tickets quite seriously as it is a practice that makes the purchase of tickets very unfair for fans who genuinely want to buy tickets. We have worked with SISTIC on this and have proceeded to invalidate tickets we have information on. You may be denied entry at the door if you’re holding one of these tickets.
