Korea Festival 2013 – Vizit Korea will also play host to the Korean Film Festival 2013. The festival promises to be an absolute delight to fans of Korean entertainment and movie goers alike. This year’s festival includes the screening of cinematic pieces such as The Grand Heist, The Thieves, A Werewolf Boy and more! What’s more? We have appearances from Korean stars Lee Yuri and Lee Chae Young! Come meet Lee Yu Ri on 27 October 2013 at 5:30pm and catch Lee Chae Young during the main movie screening at 7:00pm.
Apart from star appearances, our event hosts a plethora of cultural and experiential booths and performances. Come take part in the Korean Speech Contest and show off your linguistic skills or participate in the Challenge Hankuk to showcase your knowledge of Korean culture. Be entranced by the splendor of Korea’s finest holiday destinations set up by Korea Tourism Organisation.
World famous Todai Restaurant will also be promoting their specialty dishes at the Vizit Korea Food Street, so do not miss this opportunity to get a taste of Korea. In addition, there will be chefs flying in directly from from Korea to demonstrate some of the finer techniques in perfecting the beloved and much adored Kimchi.
Mr Sam Tan Chin Siong , Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth & Mayor, Central Singapore District will be present to grace the event at the opening ceremony of Korea Festival 2013 – Vizit Korea.
