This charming 26-year-old Korean cutie will be here in Singapore this coming May for his very first personal Fan Meeting in Singapore!

About Song Joong Ki

Song Joong Ki made his acting debut in the 2008 film, Frozen Flower, and went on to become a regular host on the KBS music show Music Bank.

He found fame as Goo Yong-ha in the TV series Sung Kyung Kwan Scandal (2010) and has recently starred as young King Sejong in Deep Rooted Tree (2011), which won him the Producer’s Award for Actor in the 2011 SBS Drama Awards. He was also a regular on the hit variety show, Running Man.

After his appearance in Sung Kyung Kwan Scandal, he became a CF (commercials, endorsements etc) darling in Korea because of his clean image and was named as one of the top seven commercial endorsers in Korea by a Korean online news site. Recently, he was chosen by Arirang TV and MBC’s Section TV as one of the brightest Hallyu stars to watch out for in 2012.

Certified “umchina” (Korean slang for a perfect man good in everything) Song Joong Ki is not only busy with his acting and hosting but takes an active interest in societal causes as well. He has participated in a project for the visually impaired people – Seeing is Believing. This project included a campaign called “Read Aloud” where staffs lent their voice talents in the creation of 500 audio and 100 Braille books for visually impaired people so that they may enjoy literature.
