Help bring Kpop onto the World Stage at 2011 MTV EMA!

As fans of BIG BANG would have known, Big Bang has been nominated for 2011 MTV EMA (Europe Music Awards) this year – a grand worldwide event featuring only the best artistes like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber and more. This is also the first time that MTV EMA has a Worldwide Act category to showcase the biggest acts of each region. Fans will be able to vote for an artist/group within five different regions (Asia Pacific, North America, Latin America, Africa/India/Middle East and Europe). The nominee from each region with the most votes (to be announced the week of 24th October) will then battle for the “World Wide Act” distinction to be bestowed at the show in Belfast.

Bring Kpop onto the World Stage!

Big Bang will be going against some tough competition in the Asia-Pacific category with nominees Agnes Monica, EXILE, Gotye, Jane Zhang, Jay Chou and Sia – but if they get through, it’ll mark a big achievement for Korean music on the music scene internationally. So help Korean music become recognised on the worldwide stage, and vote!

How to vote?

Just head to http://asia.mtvema.com/vote and select “Worldwide Act Asia-Pacific Nominees” and click “Vote” on Big Bang‘s picture. It’s that simple!
