Let’s save Water together with Rain!

Starting tomorrow, there will be a Water Conservation activity for Rain’s Concert. It is a special initiative brought to Singapore fans by PUB and Faith & D to promote Water Conservation!

Here’s the statement by PUB:

“We are glad that a pop icon like RAIN is supporting water conservation. Under the tagline “Every drop counts, Use only what you need”, this year’s awareness programme shines the spotlight on two of the highest water consuming activities at home. By shortening the duration of water usage, we can save 9 litres of water per minute in the shower and 8 litres of water per minute in the kitchen sink. Every drop that we save adds up. Simple acts such as installing thimbles in taps and shower heads at home can help each person save as much as 3,600 1.5-litre bottles of water a year,”

explained Mr Chong Hou Chun, Director (Water Supply Network), PUB, Singapore’s national water agency.

And as the statement above, Rain encourages you guys to follow him on saving water! Hear it straight from the man here:

Together with this initiative, Faith & D has also come up with a promotion for Rain’s Concert

Head down to any Sistic booth with something BLUE on you, and get to purchase The Best 2011 Rain Asia Tour In Singapore tickets for:

  • CAT 6 @ $198 (U.P. $238)

  • CAT 7 & 10 @ $108 (U.P. $168).

We may have enough for now, but it may not always be. Let’s cherish the water we have now, and do our part in conserving water, especially doing it with K-pop Icon RAIN!

Latest news: 2PM and Jackie Chan will be amongst the audience for Rain’s THE BEST Concert

Rain and 2PM Junho

Rain and Jackie Chan

On an article on Wan Bao (via OMY.sg), they mentioned that Rain has close relations with 2PM and Jackie Chan, who both will be attending the concert to show their support for Rain. They will be putting up a surprise for Rain – even Rain doesn’t know it at the moment (fans who read this, do keep it from Rain!) It is also said that there will be special guest appearances during the concert itself.

Rain himself will be travelling straight to Singapore right after attending the Dresden Music Festival Concert : Rain & Vogler in Germany on 19th May, Thursday. He will be arriving via CIP Terminal.

So fans, what are you waiting for?

THE BEST Concert tickets are available at all SISTIC outlets – If you are a student of Nanyang or Singapore Polytechnic, just present your student card at the SISTIC counters to enjoy 10% discount of moshpit tickets (limited to first 500 tickets). Previously, Rain had his much-talked-about “Rain’s Coming” World Tour in Singapore back in 2007. It was pretty phenomenal, as it was the biggest concert ever by a Korean artist back then and who would expect less than the phenomenal price of $488 for a concert ticket?

Of course, we definitely hope it’s of a more affordable price this time he comes back. Rain has not forgotten us a little red dot and we’re included in the tour list! Here’s our translation from his Twitter earlier on:

“Finally it’ll start from Saturday…!!! New Asia Tour ““THE BEST” Asia Tour Concert starts from Beijing, Macau, Thailand, SINGAPORE, Malaysia, Taiwan etc. Please look forward to the new laser shows! ^^”Credits to (x)clusive

There are currently no other details but (x)clusive will bring them to you as it comes! Prepare your umbrellas, Clouds (Rain’s fans)!
