C-Pop and K-Pop fans (or at least, SHINee fans) won’t forget meeting their favourite stars in the past few award shows, where Asian superstars like JJ Lin, Stefanie Sun, Energy, Show Luo, SHINee, etc graced the stage. Held every year to honour the artistes popularizing Asian culture, it’s back again this year, bigger and better. For the first time, it’ll be at Singapore Indoor Stadium on 2nd April 2011.
This year, K-pop fans will look forward to the new award category: Most Popular Korean Artiste (e乐人气韩星). Last year SHINee won the Asia New Generation (e乐亚洲新生代) (watch the awards clip here; SHINee speaks Chinese), this year, they are also nominated.

Voting for the award categories start today, 7 February, and so are the tickets on sale. Tickets are selling at all SISTIC outlets / hotline / website, priced at $168, $128, $88, $68 and $38 (excludes SISTIC charges / subject to 7% GST). OCBC Titanium Card members enjoy an exclusive 20% discount for all tickets.

From 7 Feb to 21 March 2011, public voting for the 18 “Most Popular” categories can be done through SMS 77877 or online at sgeawards.omy.sg. The public can also vote at the publicity roadshows in February.
For SMS voting, please use the format below when you send your SMS to the voting system at 77877.
